Food Distribution

Our monthly food distributions are the first Monday of each month! If that Monday is a holiday it will usually be the following Monday. Numbers are given out starting around 12:30pm. Check in at the table in front of the Education Building. You can come early and leave or come closer to 2:30 which is when the distribution begins.

In connection with the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC, we host a monthly food distribution for neighbors in need. Clients can receive a variety of food items provided by the local food bank, and the offerings usually include fresh produce as well as non-perishable goods.

In a typical month, we serve about 100 families, which represents approximately 400 people.

Sorting begins at 12:00pm, distribution at 2:30.

Volunteer to help

Want to help? Volunteer are needed to:

• Sort and package food

• Greet and sign in clients

• Load food into client vehicles
