ABOUT
Elizabeth Street UMC is a result of the 2020 merger of two congregations in Durham, NC — Resurrection UMC and Calvary UMC.
Calvary UMC began in 1916 and became the first Reconciling Congregation of the Carolinas back in 2002.

Resurrection UMC began approximately 40 years ago. We hope to have a history of RUMC available soon.
Today, Elizabeth Street UMC lives into its identity as an inclusive congregation, where all are welcome to come and encounter the transformative love of God just as they are.
